2.Our Services

ADHD assessments, coaching and nutrition support.

3.Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. Purpose of this policy:
We understand that circumstances can change and that patients may occasionally need to cancel or rearrange an appointment.
When you book an appointment with The Holistic ADHD Centre, dedicated clinical and administrative time is reserved for you. Late cancellations and missed appointments can affect both the service and other patients who are waiting for assessment or support.
This policy is designed to ensure that appointments are managed fairly and that, wherever possible, cancelled appointments can be offered to another patient.

2. Our 48-hour cancellation policy:
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, we ask that you provide at least 48 hours' notice before the scheduled appointment time.
Where at least 48 hours' notice is provided, there will be no cancellation fee, and we will work with you to rearrange your appointment where applicable, subject to clinician and appointment availability.
We recommend contacting us as soon as you know that you will be unable to attend.

3. Cancellations within 48 hours:
If you cancel or request to rearrange your appointment less than 48 hours before the scheduled appointment time, a £25 late cancellation fee will apply.
We will still try to rearrange your appointment where applicable. However, any replacement appointment will be subject to availability, and we cannot guarantee the same clinician, date or time.
The £25 fee reflects the clinical and administrative time that has already been reserved and the impact that a late cancellation can have on the service.

4. Why late cancellations affect other patients:
Our clinicians reserve specific appointment times for individual patients. When an appointment is cancelled at short notice, we may not have enough time to offer that appointment to another patient who is waiting.
This can result in unused clinical capacity while another patient may be waiting for an assessment or support.
Late cancellations can also affect the resources available to the service and our ability to provide patients with timely appointments and continuity throughout their pathway.
We therefore ask patients to give us as much notice as possible. This gives us the best opportunity to offer a cancelled appointment to another patient and helps us provide an efficient and accessible service for everyone.

5. Non-attendance:
If you do not attend a confirmed appointment and have not contacted us beforehand, this will be recorded as a Did Not Attend (DNA).
A £25 non-attendance fee will apply.
If you wish to continue your assessment or support following a missed appointment, please contact our administrative team. We will try to arrange a further appointment where appropriate, subject to availability.

6. Exceptional circumstances:
We recognise that genuine emergencies and unexpected circumstances can occur.
If you need to cancel within 48 hours because of exceptional circumstances, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible and explain what has happened.
We will consider exceptional circumstances reasonably and on an individual basis. Where appropriate, The Holistic ADHD Centre may waive the £25 late cancellation or non-attendance fee at its discretion.

7. Repeated cancellations or non-attendance:
Repeated late cancellations, requests to rearrange appointments at short notice or missed appointments can significantly disrupt your assessment and care pathway.
If this occurs, we may contact you to discuss whether it is appropriate to continue booking further appointments or whether your pathway should be temporarily paused until you are able to attend more consistently.
Any decision will take into account the individual circumstances and needs of the patient.

8. Appointment reminders:
Where available, we may send appointment confirmations and reminders through our approved communication systems.
Appointment reminders are provided as a courtesy. It remains the patient's responsibility to attend their confirmed appointment or contact us within the required notice period if they need to cancel or rearrange it.
Not receiving an appointment reminder does not, by itself, remove the requirement to pay an applicable late cancellation or non-attendance fee.

9. How to cancel or rearrange an appointment:
If you need to cancel or rearrange an appointment, please contact The Holistic ADHD Centre using the contact details provided in your appointment confirmation.
Please contact us as early as possible. The earlier we know that an appointment is no longer required, the greater the opportunity we have to offer it to another patient.

10. Agreement to this policy:
By booking and confirming an appointment with The Holistic ADHD Centre Ltd, you acknowledge and agree to this Cancellation, Rescheduling & Non-Attendance Policy as part of the terms and conditions of your booking.
Cancellation or rearrangement with 48 hours' notice or more: No fee
Cancellation or rearrangement with less than 48 hours' notice: £25
Did Not Attend (DNA): £25
The Holistic ADHD Centre reserves the right to review and update this policy from time to time. The cancellation terms applicable to your appointment will be those communicated to you when your booking is made or confirmed.
